Adventures come in many packages, for me its often a little trip someplace new, or seeking out a trail to hike, but part of what makes those adventures wonderful is finding some good food. In this post the focus is about the FOOD. Not just ordinary dine but an experience in the art of dining!

Located in Vallejo, California, in a cute and small corner of a strip plaza style building, is this hidden gem of delicacy. The Restaurant is operated by two individuals; Michael Warring and his lovely wife Ali Gulczynski. This one Chef operation offers up an intimate experience that is clearly at the center of a LOVE for fine cuisine.

Chef Warring has an eye for intricate detail, and it does not go unnoticed, with each delicious course plated beautifully. It is like being invited to savor a piece of well-sculpted art, as each bite fires up your taste buds with its complex and aromatic flavors.

The Restaurant is modest and exact. The dining room is small and specifically situated so that from each table, you can get a visual of Warring and Ali masterfully working to create their courses.

There is a counter lined with numerous seats, which offers an up-close and intimate watch. While sipping a lovely glass of wine, and enjoying conversation with your dinner date, you get full view of all the crafted cuisines coming from their open galley-style kitchen; With its pristine chrome and efficiently stocked appliances and cookware, it seems to be the perfect space for their brand of dining ♥

Every dining experience involves watching these two move about focused and precisely paced to give a full-bodied experience to their guest. With each new course, Ali and Warring present it with details of its origin and ingredients. Ali busily and gracefully assists in all the details and care of patrons, such as new wine pours, needs, and plate design.

You’re not only entertained by the perfection put into each course; you also get the pleasure of peeking behind the curtain of fine dining, all while being welcomed in a casual, unpretentious, humble environment.
